MongoDB World is Now MongoDB.live on May 4-5 — This year’s MongoDB World conference has been repurposed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and will now be a free two-day virtual event.

Hasta la Vista, DB: Eliot Horowitz to Leave MongoDB, Inc. — Eliot Horowitz was one of MongoDB’s original creators (back when the company was called 10gen) and perhaps the most recognized and prominent in the community, so the news that he’s stepping aside after 12 years is a surprise.
